Enough Already – Start Making Good Decisions

I do not get to enjoy anything I want to do with the money I make because all my time is spent at work. I wake up go to work, by the time I am home, I have two whole hours a day for myself. Not enough time for my family who also needs me. My days off, are often interrupted by work and many times I end up having to work on those days anyway. I do not like the person I am anymore. I do not feel like myself and I don’t want to keep doing something just…

Today. Pretend. To. Be. Happy. Just Pretend. See What It Would Feel Like.

I believe my job is making me sick and depressed. The atmosphere is depressing in itself. Many of the people I work with, especially those in positions over me, are extremely petty and (in my opinion) extremely unprofessional. Several of my colleagues have really horrible attitudes (which appear to be contagious). No one is happy. I have been sick – using up more than my paid number of sick days even though I am no longer paid for them. There is no promotion from within. It’s a dead end job. Yes, You CAN Handle Being Honest With Yourself About Your Job Situation

I’m tired of it. I’m not making enough money to deal with it all any more, not to mention the commute. I’m tired of feeling like I’m wasting my time while I’m there, and then there’s the clueless manager. I’m tired of the schedule. I’m sick of the leg pain and feeling worn out the next day. I’m ready to push myself into finding something new. I can find another job, provided that I finally start looking for one. Almost any job I get will pay me more than I’m making now. I made a big mistake recently and have to…

Go On Your Hero’s Journey…Embrace The Unknown

I hate my job and am ready for a career change. I feel it is time for me to move on and I can’t do that while I’m stuck at my job. The job is guaranteed misery. Quitting is the unknown but it is certainly no guaranteed misery. It’s the opportunity to start fresh and do something new. ~Worker Living in Illinois Change is moving from the known to the unknown. That’s why it seems scary.  But what good is the known if we know it’s not working for us. It’s time to move on. Who knows what the future…
