Where Are You On The Happiness Scale?

On a scale of 1-10, 1 being unhappy, 5 being neutral, and 10 being fully happy, I am consistently at a 4 or below in regards to my job. This means that not only am I not happy at my job, but I am actually unhappy.   I have made the decision that I need to remove things from my life that make me unhappy in order to find happiness. If my job was neutral or better, I would stay. But I remain in the unhappy zone, so I have to leave.                   ~Worker Living in MASSACHUSETTS You are reading from…

Live Everyday…Not Just To Make It To The Weekend.

I cannot seem to even figure out what I have any passion for. I have no energy, nor can I concentrate to really think about what really makes me happy.  I have no idea at this point. Sometimes it is worse than others. ~Worker Living in Massachusetts You are reading from the book “Just Quit” & Live Today, live your life EVEN THOUGH you are miserable on your job.  Do not live to just make it to…

Are You Stuck In A Dying Industry? Reinvent Yourself.

I have been stuck in an industry that has really gone down the drain in the last few years. I just left my last job for a new one in the same industry, and it’s even worse than the last one and the one before it. Even in higher-up positions in this industry, you still do a lot of really menial, pointless tasks, and there is no joy or fulfillment. Me and my boss’s management styles are completely opposite, and I am tired of working for someone else and being under someone else’s boot. I know that I won’t be…

Gratitude Changes The Game…Play To Win…

I am not suited for the role. The constant criticism has created lack of confidence and I feel it dipping every day. I don’t like my boss even though I think he has done as much if not more for me to help me. It’s hard to find time to interview with other companies. The constant stress and hatred towards what I do is affecting my personal relationship. I have been a horrible girlfriend constantly whining and complaining. ~Worker Living in Massachusetts You are reading from the book “Just Quit” & Live Being grateful changes the game.
